Youthscape+ is a cross-community, cross-border programme designed for young people aged 14-24 who are not in full-time education, employment, or training (NEETs). This 26-week programme offers an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and explore new possibilities by focusing on three key areas:

  1. Personal Development – Build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.

  2. Good Relations – Engage in cross-community activities that promote understanding and respect.

  3. Citizenship – Take an active role in your community and make a positive impact.

Why We Exist

Youthscape+ is a young person-centred initiative that helps participants:

  • Develop personally, building confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.

  • Engage in cross-community activities to foster understanding, respect, and peacebuilding.

  • Take an active role in their communities, making a positive social impact.

Through this programme, young people gain valuable skills, OCN Level 1 qualifications, and access to mentorship and support that help them transition into education or employment.

What We Do

This supportive 26-week programme offers an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and explore new possibilities. Here’s what participants can expect:

  • Gain an OCN Level 1 qualification in Personal Development, Good Relations, and Citizenship.

  • Support with travel to and from sessions.

  • Lunch provided each day to ensure accessibility.

  • Team building and fun day trips across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

  • Opportunity to make a difference in your community with a social impact project.

  • Focus on Cross Border, Cross Community work and encouraging Peace Building.

  • Providing 1:1 support for young people throughout the programme.

Youthscape+ operates across the border region and is delivered in partnership with:

  • Donegal Youth Service

  • South West College

  • Mayo Sligo Leitrim Education and Training Board

  • Tides Training

  • Cedar Foundation

This collaborative effort ensures a strong network of support, bridging gaps between education and employment and empowering young people with the skills and resources needed to succeed in today's job market.
