Youth Talk Donegal is a free, confidential, one-to-one support service for young people aged 12-25. If you're facing challenges like bullying, family conflict, school pressures, friendship or relationship issues, sexuality, or any other personal struggles, we’re here to help.
How to Access Support
Young people or parents can contact us directly to set up an appointment with one of our professional Youth Talk workers. Schools and other professionals can also make referrals.
How We Help
Our experienced youth workers provide a safe, supportive space, using active listening and a person-centred approach to help young people set and achieve their personal and social development goals.
No issue is too small, and while we support young people in crisis, we also focus on early intervention to prevent small challenges from becoming bigger problems.
Support is not time-limited and sessions continue as long as needed. Young people can return for support in the future whenever they need it.
If needed, and in consultation with the young person, a Youth Worker may recommend additional specialist support. This does not mean Youth Talk Donegal’s support will end, meaning our team remains available throughout the process.
