YOUNG BANDS AND DJS GEAR UP FOR PARTY IN THE PARK
All roads lead to Letterkenny Town Park for this year’s Party in the Park. A host of young bands from all across Donegal are set to perform in the Letterkenny Town Park on Wednesday August 24th.
This year there will be loads of talented bands and artists thrilling the crowds from the main stage. Special Guests on the main stage will be the much sought after Phat Kiidz, whose hit single ‘GAA Jersey’ with Donegal legends Goats Don’t Shave looks set to be the song of the summer.
The “Party in The Park” is a family event for all the young people of Donegal which has been organised by Donegal Youth Service annually for over 10 years.
The event will run from 1pm until 6pm in the Letterkenny Town Park. There will also be a wide range of entertainment on the day, with something to suit all ages, including: Bouncy Castles, Human Fuzzball, Mini Olympics, Art tent, Retro style games, Rodeo Bull, plus more.
Gareth Gibson Information Manager said “The young people and staff involved have planned a fantastic day for the young people and families of the area with music, sports and refreshments, we have a lot of new up and coming talent on show and even more side show activity, making the day a perfect family day out. We are extremely grateful to all our staff and volunteers whose help and support will make the day all the more special.”
The Party in the Park will be a totally non-alcoholic event and is supported by the Northwest Regional Drugs and Alcohol Task Force. Free admission.
