Donegal Youth Service launches new Youth Club guide for 2023/24

Donegal Youth Service is excited to announce the launch of our New Youth Club Handbook, at the first Volunteer forum meeting of the Youth Club year 2023/24 on October 20th, The Volunteer forum which is made up of affiliated Youth Clubs, volunteers and representatives.

This resource is aimed at enhancing the experience and recognition of our affiliated youth clubs and their contributions to the community.

The Youth Club Handbook is a comprehensive guide that provides valuable information and resources to youth club leaders and members. It covers topics such as club governance, program planning, volunteer management, and safeguarding. By providing this handbook, we aim to empower youth clubs to thrive and provide high-quality services to young people.

In addition, we have presented all affiliated clubs name plaques and printers as a sign of their membership and commitment to our organisation. These plaques will serve as a tangible symbol of recognition and a source of pride for youth clubs and their members. They can be displayed prominently within club premises, showcasing the club’s affiliation with Donegal Youth Service and its dedication to youth development. The printers will be a great addition to the volunteers on a day to day bases.

“We are thrilled to launch the Affiliated Youth Club Handbook and to be in a position to present Clubs with Name plaques & printers,” said Charlene Logue Outreach manager of Donegal Youth Service. “These initiatives are a testament to our commitment to supporting our Youth Clubs and recognising their invaluable work in empowering young people in our community.”

Donegal Youth Service encourages all affiliated youth clubs to take advantage of the resources and opportunities provided by the new handbook and proudly display their Youth Club name plaques. These initiatives will further strengthen the youth club network and promote the positive impact they have on the lives of young people.
