Donegal Youth Service was established 1981 and over the last five decades we’ve continually evolved to meet the changing needs of our youth in the northwest. We’ve supported more than 15,000 young people per year, ensuring they have access to the guidance, encouragement, and opportunities they deserve, supporting their mental, physical and emotional health. Through our work, we uplift, encourage and power children, teenagers and young adults in communities in Donegal, and we believe in building a brighter future together.

To develop and promote the formal, informal and non-formal education and personal development of young people, and adults that support them, with particular focus on young people experiencing disadvantage, by providing opportunities to develop their physical, mental, social, holistic and spiritual needs through the medium of informal learning experiences, youth work practice, programmes and projects or by any other means appropriate.
