The Donegal Youth Service Community Employment Project is a training programme for long term unemployed people to gain work experience and training, build confidence and employability skills to enter mainstream employment or further education. Each participant has an Individual Learning Plan tailored to their needs and supported by the CE Supervisor to develop and enhance their employability.
Why We Exist
This programme aims to support unemployed individuals in gaining valuable work experience and skills to improve their job prospects. It provides structured training and guidance, helping participants become more employable and confident in their abilities.
Additionally, the programme plays a key role in enhancing the services and programmes delivered by Donegal Youth Service, offering crucial support to staff and volunteers across the county.
Where We Operate
The CE Project provides youth workers to youth clubs in various locations across Donegal, including:
-
Raphoe
-
Ballybofey
-
Falcarragh
-
Dunfanaghy
-
Clonmany
By placing youth workers in these areas, the programme strengthens the network of youth services available to young people in Donegal.
When It All Began
