Key Youth Worker – Youthscape 

With Donegal Youth Service in Letterkenny/Ballybofey.

Duties: The Key Youth Workers will be responsible for the recruitment of Youthscape Programme participants utilising a detached youth work model. These individuals will also be responsible for providing 1:1 support to young people for the duration of their participation on the Programme and their transition. They will be trained youth work professionals.

  1. Digital Media Assistant, Letterkenny.

Duties will involve: IT and word processing. Assisting the Digital Media Officer with video, photography, writing press releases, marketing and dealing with queries from the public. Working with young people. Research and contributing to information provision both online and offline. Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

2. Youth Support Worker, Ballybofey.

Duties will include: to assist with the supervision of young people and assist in all areas of Youth Work activities ie sports, arts & crafts, tuition, trips etc. To cover a Maternity Leave.


CE positions are 19.5 hours per week.

Applicants must be eligible for DSP. Contact your local Intreo office to confirm eligibility.  General Eligibility is 21 years old + 1 year unemployed.
